Having a reproduction made of a special bow has become a very appealing choice for many musicians. If a favorite bow is brought to Lee, he has the technology to determine its specifications and a great variety of woods available enabling him to create a copy that is extremely close to the original bow in both visual and playing characteristics. 30th Anniversary BowsBein & Fushi's 20th Anniversary bows by Lee were so popular that the firm has just commissioned a new series of bows that will be of extraordinary quality to mark Lee's 30th anniversary. The bow maker spent many years collecting the highest quality Pernambuco wood, often visiting Brazil to supervise wood cutting and sawmilling. He will be using especially select Pernambuco from his collection for these bows, each of which will have an engraved commemorative slide. Stay tuned for more about these special bows in our next issue. "John's superb bows are created at the highest level of excellence.
